The Curly Haired Girl Buys A Sedu
If you’re a curly haired girl like me, you are probably always looking for a product to straighten your hair and allow you to achieve stick-straight hair like that of Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez (J Lo). Well, there are now products available that allow you to do that and with awesome results. Hair straighteners (a.k.a. flat irons) have been around for a while now, but now there’s a new breed that use cutting edge technology allowing you to tame your frizzy hair and give it a smooth and silky style in a fraction of the time. These commercially available products are the same ones used by salons and yes, even Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez.
This new breed of hair straighteners use true ceramic/Tourmaline plates which generate six times more negative ions (a good thing) than regular ceramic flat irons. The end result is more natural looking straight hair in a fraction of the time. After using one of these products, I must say that I am very impressed with the results.
I purchased a Sedu Ionic 1.5 Inch Flat Iron and gave it a test run. The first thing I noticed was how fast it heated up. About 25 seconds which is much faster than my old flat iron. I also noticed how much easier the ceramic/Tourmaline plates slid down my hair. The product materials say that the Sedu produces 3 times smoother and silkier hair than using an ordinary ceramic iron. I don’t know if my hair was 3 times smoother, but it definitely looked a lot better than with my old hair straightener.
The Sedu also allowed me to adjust the temperature of the iron, which was beneficial for my thick, course hair. This enabled me to straighten my hair much faster than I was used to with my old iron. I would say that I easily cut the time by a third to a half of what it used to take.
The Sedu is also much smaller and easier to use then I am used to. This made for a more pleasant experience and did not make my hand get tired. The power cord on the Sedu is designed to swivel so I don’t have to worry about the cord getting twisted up and tangled over time.
All in all I am very impressed by the experience I had with the Sedu. I paid $125 for mine and that included free shipping. There are other brands that use the tourmaline plates which range from the high 80′s all the way up to $200 and beyond. For the price, I am happy with the results I got with the Sedu. I think you will be too.

Sleek Hair Sedu Style
We’ve come a long way since our mothers straightened our hair with an iron and ironing board, and it has never been more evident than now. The Sedu hair straightener has revolutionized the way we straighten our hair and has proved that hair Sedu style is hair to be truly envious of.
Hair Sedu style is identified by sleek, straight, shiny and conditioned tresses, the likes of which can only be obtained by using the Sedu ceramic flat iron. This flat iron infuses hair with moisture during every step of the straightening process to ensure that hair Sedu style remains healthy, shiny, strong and vibrant.
The secret of hair Sedu style lies with ionic technology and the materials used to create the Sedu hair straightener. Hair Sedu style is achieved thanks to the high concentration of negative ions, which work to infuse moisture and shine into the inner layers of your hair.
The smooth ceramic plates of the Sedu ceramic flat iron also work like no other ordinary straightening iron to give you hair that is truly Sedu style. Ceramic tile, made from clay and hardened by fire, is a naturally moist and smooth material. When heated, it actually infuses its moisture into any absorbent material that it comes into contact with such as your hair. The results are luxurious, shiny tresses that can only be credited to the Sedu hair straightener.
Not only is hair Sedu style a step above styles created with ordinary flat irons, hair Sedu style also boasts of tresses that are up to three times smoother and silkier than those that can be achieved with other ceramic flat irons. Additionally, the Sedu hair straightener uses ultra-smooth plates which guarantees smooth straightening motions that will not pull or break your hair. This all results in truly healthy and silky hair Sedu style.
Sedu styled hair is also a breeze to achieve and maintain. The Sedu flat iron cuts straightening time in half and heats up to the desired temperature in less than 25 seconds. This means that not only will your hair style be gorgeous, it will also take you a fraction of the time to go from frizz to sleek than it does when using conventional flat irons.
And the consistent heat held by the ceramic plates of the Sedu flat iron means that your hair will be shiny and frizz free throughout. From the roots of your hair to the tips of your tresses, your hair will be beautiful when you achieve hair Sedu style.
Sedu styling is also great for every type of hair imaginable. From fine, limp and damaged hair to coarse, thick ethnic hair, the Sedu hair straightener can be adjusted to suit your particular needs. This is possible because of the flat iron’s adjustable thermostat, which allows you to choose a heat setting that is perfect for you to achieve hair Sedu style.
As you can see, there are many beautiful benefits associated with the Sedu styling. What are you waiting for? Why not see what the Sedu hair staightener can do for your look today.

Hair Clippers: Bring The Salon Look Home
Gone are the days when a hair stylist or a barber is limited to the traditional pair of scissors when it comes to tools for cutting hair. Now, there are literally hundreds of tools to choose from when you think of styling hair, be it for men or women. Along with modern styling techniques, manufacturers of hair styling products have developed state. of-the-art equipment to help barbers and stylists make their jobs easier.
A hair clipper is an example of such essential tool. It used to be available for professional use only, but now there are hair clippers which can be used at home to give a simple home haircut that salon-styled look. Whether you are a professional hairdresser or if you just want to use the tool at home, there are several factors that you should first consider if you want to buy the perfect hair clipper and get your money’s worth:
Q. Can it be used for both wet and dry hair?
A. The latest hair clippers available can be used to cut both wet and dry hair. This offers more styling options, especially for professional users. Be it a quick haircut or a more detailed hair sculpturing, they can now choose to work with either wet or dry hair, depending on their styling preferences and the customer’s needs.
Q. Can it cut different hair types?
A. Yes! There are several hair textures, from very fine to coarse and brittle, so choose one that is suitable for all hair types.
Q. Are hair clippers big and bulky? Could I fit one in my purse?
A. Most hair clippers are already handy in size, but it is better to choose one that fits in the contours of the user’s hand. This gives the user a firmer grip on the tool so that the hair can be styled easier.
Q. Is the blade adjustable?
A. Some have this ability, some don’t. Check if the hair clipper can cut different hair lengths. Choose one with adjustable blades. This type makes for a better styling variety, as the user can quickly change the length of cut by adjusting the blade position. Also make sure that the blades are for heavy-duty use.
Q. Is it noisier than a hair drier?
A. Check on the product package to make sure that the power of the motor will meet your styling needs. You also do not want that annoying buzz while using the clipper so make sure that the motor is quiet.
Make sure you get a hair clipper with good quality. The latest state-of-the-art hair clippers in the market feature a titanium blade, as compared to the usual metal razors of regular hair clippers. Titanium-coated blades stay sharp twice as long as the regular blades, so why settle for anything less? A good, quality hair clipper -no matter how expensive. is a sound investment, especially for the professional users.
- Look for a sturdy casing to make sure that your hair clipper will last for a very long time
- Check if the hair clipper does not require to grease or oil the internal parts. There are maintenance-free variants available
- Some brands of hair clippers have rechargeable batteries, which you might want to consider as well
- Check if the hair clipper is designed for both home and professional use
If the hair clipper that you are thinking of buying has most of these qualities, go ahead and purchase it. It will make the task of hair cutting and hair styling a breeze.

Top Tips For Choosing The Right Hair Dryer
If you have been shopping for a new hair dryer lately, you were no doubt confronted with a wide range of choices. From inexpensive conventional hair dryers that cost about $10 to professional hair dryers that can cost ten times that much, there really is a large and confusing array of hair dryer options to choose from.
So, how can you sort through the many to find the perfect hair dryer for your particular needs and hair type? The answer lies in becoming familiar with the different types of hair dryers so that you can purchase the one that you really need and avoid the ones that are unnecessarily tricked out.
As mentioned earlier, the purchase of a new hair dryer can be quite inexpensive or very expensive depending on the hair dryer that you choose. While, choosing a hair dryer because it is dirt cheap is never a good option, you can cut your costs by choosing a hair dryer that has only the options that you will really use. In order to aid you in your quest, I have separated, according to cost, the different types of hair dryers that you will likely see on your next shopping trip.
- Inexpensive hair dryers ($5 – $20) can be found in almost any store. While inexpensive hair dryers may not cost a lot when you first purchase them, they can cost you a great deal when it comes to hair damage. Since most inexpensive hair dryers only come equipped with one temperature setting, you can literally blast your tresses to death with the unchecked heat from one of these babies. The only time an inexpensive hair dryer is a good idea is if you hardly ever use one, if your hair is extremely short or if you only use a hair dryer briefly to set your gel.
- Moderately expensive hair dryers ($20 – $50) come equipped with most of the settings that you will need for daily use of the hair dryer. Most feature multiple temperature settings and a cool blast button for drying brittle hair or for setting in curl. Most often this is the hair dryer that is perfect for everyone.
- Professional hair dryers ($50 – $100+) can only be purchased at a beauty supply store or through a professional catalogue. While these hair dryers are geared toward repeated use by professionals, they can be beneficial to use at home if you are willing to pay the price. Many of these hair dryers are ultra quiet and feature new drying technologies such as ionic energy to cut your hair drying time in half. They infuse moisture and only cause very minimal damage.
As with all thermal styling tools, hair dryers cause damage to the hair shaft. Incorrect or repeated, high-temperature use of a hair dryer can leave your hair looking dull and frizzy. To make sure that this does not happen to you, always keep the hair dryer 10″ from your hair and point the stream of air down the hair shaft. Failure to do so can result in heat bubbles forming on the hair shaft or a blown cuticle, which causes dullness and frizz.
While the type of hair dryer that you purchase may have an impact on how much damage you get from using a hair dryer on your hair everyday, the main culprit of damage is misuse of the hair dryer. So, make sure that you have a good quality hair dryer and that you are using it properly. Your hair will thank you for it by remaining shiny and healthy for years to come.
