Different Types of Hats to Hide Your Bad Hair Day
Stylish Hats For Bad Hair Days
Do not worry if you have a bad hair day. Just hide it with a stylish hat and carry on with your routine. But be sure not to remove your hat as it could expose your bad hair. Many hats are available in different style which can suit your taste. You can also choose from the many styles that suits you and your attire for that particular day.
In the cold winter months a wool hat, or toque, is a great way to cover up your head and keep warm as well. Not just for skiers or snowboarders anymore, wool hats are very funky and stylish. A new style that is very popular is wool hats with a bit of a brim. This gives the hat a bit more shape and it looks great on most people since it doesn’t draw too much attention to the size and shape of the head.
Baseball hats are a type of hat that never seems to go out of style. However, the popular style of baseball hat has changed throughout the years. The fitted flexible hat was very popular a few years back, and this year it seems to be the trucker style mesh hat. These definitely don’t suit everyone since they add height to your head and are not fitted. Many popular surf companies are making these hats for men and women.
Cowboy hats are not just worn down south, but are gaining popularity in other areas as well. Everybody wants to get into a rustic identity by preferring the cowboy or cowgirl style of hats as these hats come in a variety of colors, shapes and style. It comes in blue, pink and many other colors with art work of shells and other things embellished to give an appealing look.
Bucket hats are a great stylish cover up for the beach during the hot summer months. These hats are adorable and also suit almost everyone. You can find a huge variety of styles with fun summer prints on them. Half bucket hats are also becoming very popular and seem to be more versatile than the full versions.
Newsboy hats are another hit amongst both the sex. These hats are stylish and serve to cover your head in a sophisticated manner. You can have one of wool, as this hat never goes out of fashion.
Many high fashion designers are getting in on the popularity of hats. Coach, for example comes out with a stylish monogrammed bucket hat each year that is very popular and sells quickly. Fedoras are also seeing heightened popularity and many designers are coming out with their own take on these old-school hats for the spring season.
You have a variety of hats to choose from if you want to select one for yourself. You can use hats not just to cover your bad hair days, but also to improve your personality. You can choose a hat that fits you the best from amongst the many available.

5 Steps To Perfect Hair
Your hair is your crowning glory. Look after it and it will shine for all the world to see. You don’t always need expensive treatments, or visits to a hair salon to manage your hair professionally. There’s so much you can do yourself.
- For shiny, healthy hair think first of your body’s intake. Your hair is really just a reflection of what you are inside. A good balanced, nutritious and healthy diet will do more to make your hair shine than any shampoo or conditioner. And drink eight to ten glasses of water a day too; hair is 25% water, so don’t let yours go thirsty!
- Dry your hair after washing in the ambient temperature of your room after using an absorbent towel to soak up the excess moisture, but don’t rub hard. If possible, don’t use blow-drying, flat irons, curling irons or hot rollers. Artificial heating will leave your hair brittle and damaged in time. Be natural whenever you can.
- Prevent unnecessary hair damage by using the right kind of hairbrush. Only comb wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, combing from end to root, but avoiding touching the root. Detangling wet hair with a hard steel comb can create a lot of damage, so don’t!
- Remove trichoptlosis, or split ends, like this: take small sections of your hair and carefully twist them in a gentle downward motion. The split ends will stick out. Using sharp scissors, carefully cut into the twisted section, but not right through, to remove the damaged cuticles and leave a natural layered look. Cut roughly the same amount from each twist to balance the effect.
- Hair loss can be slowed, or even reversed by applying a few simple tips, though they probably won’t cure an underlying condition. Biotin can help to regenerate hair follicles: blend bananas with honey, yoghurt and low-fat milk, and drink it daily. Supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc and saw palmetto will help too, but eliminating stress and getting plenty of sleep may work just as well.
We are all obsessed with our hair, whether we are 9 or 90, male or female. Look after yourself first and foremost and your hair will reflect that care and attention. The Biblical Samson’s strength lay in his fine flowing hair. Your hair reflects your strength too.

When Bad Hair Happens To Good People
It doesn’t matter who we are, a famous star or just ordinary people, we all have things that we don’t like about ourselves. The meteoric rise of the cosmetic surgery industry attests to the fact that there are a lot of people who don’t like something about themselves enough to pay lots of money and go through immense agony to change it. I was cursed with bad hair. I often look at those models on TV and wonder why I didn’t get thick, shiny Alberto shampoo hair. But perhaps the problem isn’t with hair, or whatever you don’t like about yourself; perhaps we are comparing ourselves to unreal examples and focusing too much on what isn’t perfect.
I was watching an interview with a super model. The interviewer asked this near perfect woman what she didn’t like about herself. I was thinking, what was there not to like, but she said she didn’t like her feet. She had very ugly feet and it really bothered her. At first I thought, “Oh please! Couldn’t you come up with something better than that?” But the fact here was this picture perfect woman who, instead of focusing on all that she had going for her, was lamenting about her ugly feet. I saw Cindy Crawford in an interview once and they asked her what she said to people who lamented that they don’t look like her. She replied, “I don’t look like me without all this makeup.” So, although Cindy looks perfect when we see her, it isn’t without a lot of help and foundation. Jane Fonda once replied to an interviewer that asked her how she managed to stay looking so good, “I eat right, exercise and spend lots of money.” So perhaps it isn’t that bad hair happens to good people (or whatever you don’t like about yourself). It may be that we have a lot that is really good. We are just too busy focusing on what we don’t like and comparing it to unrealistic examples.
When I am honest with myself, and not obsessing about my hair, there is plenty that I have been blessed with. One big blessing is my health. I think people take their health for granted until it is too late. Trust me! Those I know with health challenges would trade their hair for my health any day. I also have amazing teeth. I was born with perfect teeth. They are white, strong and straight. People always compliment me on them and sometimes think my teeth are capped or otherwise altered, but they’re mine. I also have fabulous skin. I am not sure why I have such great skin because as a young person it was not uncommon for me to spend hours on the beach soaked in baby oil laying on foil trying to get a tan. I don’t tan easily, but somehow my skin survived the torture and looks great. So there really are things I have that are good, even great, but I tend to focus on what I don’t like about myself, and I believe there lays the problem. Instead of focusing on what you don’t like or have, focusing on what you love about yourself might just give you a different perspective.
We all have great features and we have some not so great features. But if all you ever do is focus on what you don’t like, that is the only thing you are ever going to see. If instead of obsessing over whatever it is you don’t like about yourself, focus on what you do like and what is good or even great about you. You are not just your hair, or nose or whatever it is you don’t like. You are an entire package made up of lots of great attributes and features. Begin to focus on what you like and you will be surprised how those features will begin to become more prominent.
